SCHOOL YEAR: 2024-2025 Fall (9/9/24 - 12/15/24), Spring (1/13/25 - 5/9/2025)

LOCATION: Cibola High School, 1510 Ellison NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114

WEEKLY HOURS .5 COURSE CREDIT: 3 hrs/wk or 45 hours/semester (or 2 quarters) plus complete a 30 hour self-reflection project during the last week (week 15) of the internship.

HOURLY PAY: 15/hr stipend (No taxes withheld) WHEN WORK HAPPENS: 8:40AM - 3:40PM

Summary of Position

We are seeking an individual to:

Assist introductory Engineering students with 3D modeling and dimensioning drawings
Assist the Engineering instructor with running 3D printers, organizing tools and preparing materials for design problems
Assist the Engineering instructor with pre-reviews of design work submitted by students in the introductory Engineering class

Hard Skills

Enrolled in High School or GED

Currently enrolled in or have completed Engineering 4

Recommendation by Engineering Instructor

Soft Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills
Organized student with a positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn

Exposure & Training provided through internship

We will teach you how to evaluate student work, effectively communicate how to correct the mistakes the students made on their work and how to serve as a mentor to the Engineering students.

Working and Physical Conditions/Onboarding Requirements (**vaccinations, etc.)

Signing required forms including non-disclosure agreement.
